The Villas
The villas are well-equipped, located right on the shore of Lake Päijänne at the tip of the peninsula, in the middle of a birch forest and on top of a pine hill. The place is lush and the shore is near you. Our villas are located south-east of central Finland, on the east side of lake Päijänne in the municipality of Luhanka.
Both Korvaniemi villas have a number of different buildings in their yard, such as granaries, woodsheds, lakeside sauna (Korvaniemi 1), barbecue canopy, dining canopy and children’s swings.
Inspired by the ear form of the cape and the large yards, we named the peninsula as a the village of Korvaniemi (Cape Ear). The village atmosphere is enhanced by the “beach boulevard”, which closely follows the Päijänne shoreline and combines the Korvaniemi cottages with each other.
Thanks to the functionality of the yard and the smooth terrain, especially families with children, wedding couples and people with reduced mobility love the place.

The broad leaf tree and pine courtyards of Korvaniemi and Nenäniemi villages are exceptional.
All plots have a woodshed, a storage room and spacious barbecue grill canopies. Korvaniemi also has granaries.
The top form of the plots is flat, making them safe to play for both big and small children.
It is easy to take a walk from Nenäniemi by the nature trail to Korvaniemi and further twist the 2 km long rural summer landscape back to Nenänimi. You can push the baby carriage along the sandy road and admire lake Päijänne dawn and sunset or listen to the sounds of summer nights!
